Waaaaay too early.

Y'all, it's only 6.15 (AM!!) and I've been up for an hour. On the plus sound, I woke up to Motion City Soundtrack's "The Future Freaks Me Out", one of my new favorite songs. It's just so happy- you can't not bounce around when it's on.

Speaking of music: EMPIRES! t_usual_suspect is my favorite because she informed my behind-the-times ass that the cd was put up for download by the darling boys themselves here. Download it if you haven't already: they have such a great sound, not too pop-y but not so edgy that they're music makes you feel a bit sad. Because as much as I love Brand New and The Used? Most of their songs make me feel sad. 

That's one of the best things about music though, there's a song for every occasion. Sad, happy, peaceful, plain pissed off, lonely, energetic.... each of these can have their own soundtrack!

Anyway, back to work!

Aaaaaaaah! jhdsknvxncvheoih! *flails* *is ded* Wow. Can you say AWESOME? Because I can, and this album is. Your review was spot on. They totally deserve all the flailing and the headdesking.

I have no idea why it took me so long to get on the empires wagon. I think I was so caught up with mcr and Panic and fob, that I just didn't think I had enough attention to give another band. Yeah. Changed my mind about that. This is the first album that I've given an perfect rating; ususally there are at least SOME songs I don't lke. I LOVE THEM ALL!!! *is incoherent*

~Laughs~ I'm glad you enjoyed! ~grin~ I"m also glad that you appriciated my review. It's honestly just *my* opinion, but apparently, i'm not the only one that's felt that way. XD i feel like maybe we should send that whole comment thread to the boys and say "SEEE?! WE LOVESES YOU!"

~shrugs~ I wouldn't fret too much. It's taken me a while to love some of the other bands in the corner of the music world. Sometimes it just takes a little while to get some room in the brain to love another gorup. :) These guys are pretty much all consuming for me, musically. MCR's the only band with a higher play count right now.

akire_yta came up with that name. It really is apt. XD
